Introduces Angel-Guard Seamer Fluids
New Fluids offer high performance, extended life for
lubricated parts of high-speed beverage can seamers
MENOMONEE
FALLS, WI (December 16, 2004) - To provide enhanced wear protection
and extend the fluid life of newer, high-speed beverage can seamers,
Behnke Lubricants Inc/JAX has developed the Angel-Guard line of 100
percent synthetic, food-grade seamer fluids.
Today's
newer oil-lubricated beverage can seamer models typically range from
12- to 18-station units. They utilize a recirculating system that
requires a high-performance fluid to avoid excessive wear. JAX
specially compounded the Angel-Guard Fluids to provide long-term
wear and corrosion protection, and to extend the life of the can
seamers. JAX Angel-Guard Fluids also contain Micronox®.
"Our
success in the formulation of JAX Angel-Guard Seamer Fluids has
allowed us to expand further in the can seamer market," says
Eric Peter, president of Behnke Lubricants Inc/JAX. "Our
ongoing research and testing of lubricant fluids provides our
customers with products that maximize machine life and performance,
while ultimately reducing maintenance costs."
To
handle the variety of products packaged with high-speed seamers, JAX
has developed two formulation versions of Angel-Guard. JAX
Angel-Guard Fluid D is a demulsifying lubricant used on seamers that
process low fructose or corn syrup products where less of the
processed product combines with the lubricating fluid. It provides
optimum water contamination separation characteristics for easier
filtration, lower filter pressures and extended drain intervals. JAX
Angel-Guard Fluid E is an emulsifying/dispersant lubricant used on
seamers with a higher concentration of fructose or corn syrup
sweeteners where the processed product may combine with the
lubricating fluid on a consistent basis. This allows machines to run
more efficiently while keeping the sugars from collecting on
internal components of the seamers. Both fluids are FDA food-grade
compliant and can handle packaged products such as beer, soda, fruit
juice and mineral water.
JAX
Angel-Guard Fluids include a free, ongoing oil analysis program
through JAX RPM Laboratory, to proactively monitor fluid condition
and machine performance.
