ANNOUNCES HALO-GUARD FG
New, Advanced Technology Food Grade Grease
MENOMONEE FALLS (May 25, 2002) – BEHNKE LUBRICANTS INC/JAX,
a leader in high-technology industrial, synthetic and food grade
lubricants, announced today the availability of the newest member
of its sophisticated, high performance line of food grade greases.
JAX HALO-GUARD FG food grade, corrosion control grease provides
performance levels formerly associated only with high performance,
EP (Extreme Pressure) industrial grade greases.
This new food grade grease will compliment others in the JAX Line
and is formulated for use on high temperature food processing equipment,
and all other grease lubricated machinery subject to extremely high
loading, premature wear rates and high processing temperatures.
JAX HALO-GUARD FG will provide remarkable performance on bearings
in highly corrosive environments such as tomato processing, sauer
kraut packing and other high acid product plants. It is also extremely
well suited for high temperature cookers, steam peelers and numerous
oven processing applications.
JAX HALO-GUARD FG utilizes new, unconventional thickener technology,
which avoids many of the problems associated with current aluminum
complex, food grade grease thickeners. This would include eliminating
age hardening, drastically increasing pump-ability and providing
greatly enhanced performance in automatic, centralized grease applications
by reducing or eliminating grease separation under high-pressure
dispensing conditions.
JAX HALO-GUARD FG offers superior rust and corrosion prevention
properties that are unmatched with any other food grade grease technology.
In addition, the levels of EP (Extreme Pressure) and anti-wear performance
are among the best ever reported for a food grade grease.
Coupled with JAX recently introduced POLY-GUARD FG, and now followed
by HALO-GUARD FG, JAX is currently providing two NSF H1 food grade
greases that provide performance levels higher than any existing
food grade grease. In most cases, these products also offer higher
performance levels than conventional non-food grade greases. These
are the first USDA H1 greases that can be used successfully on all
equipment in modern food processing and packaging plants –
from the receiving dock to the shipping department, and all processing
and packaging equipment in between.
